Come talk tomatoes, soils, composts, soil ph, edable greens in the front yard, berrys, fruit, nuts, or whatever grown and you eat it.

Maybe I should also start a flower garden/ornamentals edition

I'll go subscribe!

Hatched this morning! Our beautiful pekin/buff mix! Egg laid on our farm, the first to hatch.

OK...I'm at work, but will candle and try to take decent pics so you guys can see if they look ok when I get home.
Christine.... first things first... relax and take a deep breath. We can do this together. All is well. If you saw all 4 eggs moving last night and responding to stimulation, then you are in great shape!

Candle your eggs to see where dip is and lay the dip side on top. If you see shadows moving inside air cell, they are internally pipping. I like to use my steth to listen for clicking sounds of beginning breathing. Some people hold fat end of egg next to ear to listen for the clicking sound too. However, to my surprise, my 1st blue egg was peeping so loud, I could hear it without steth. I am now slowly raising my humidity (over a 12-24 hour period) to 73%. It is currently at 56% and climbing.
