Kind of funny but I have one of the tiniest duck breeds, and I want one of the largest goose breeds...go figure! I would really love to get some dewlap eggs, but I sure hate taking a chance on shipped goose eggs. The year I started in geese, the number I had shipped to me far surpassed the number that actually hatched....very frustrating. Especially if it's something you really want.

*snap* I could get some dewlap eggs, and put them under the sebbie that's sitting on eggs. She can do all the work for me and even raise them! I'd just pull her sebbie babies as they hatch and maybe she'll finish setting the dewlaps. Ok...who has dewlap eggs??????

They are great. Too bad you are about 8 hrs away from me cause I will not be able to keep these babies I already have too many.

I absolutely love Muscovies !!! My first Duck, Cozy, was the most amazing Muscovy duck. They are great pets I have always wanted a Muscovy hen.

In the pic below you can see how the light goes through the egg, rather than spilling round the sides. That is an un-incubated duck egg.

the duckling is worse today.
its like hes fading, or doesnt want to live anymore.
he wont use his bad leg now. barely tries to move.
and the other 2 brats were picking on him bcuz his bad leg just twitches. like it has nerve damage or sumthin.
i put him in a yougart cup to keep him safe from them, and under the heat lamp.

is it bad to wish he had passed on in the night ?

i hate seeing him like this, bcuz i cant fix it.
