sorry about your chickie QJ. I have a hunting dog and she knows if she ever even thought about my ducks or chickens, I would put her choke collar on and work her hard near the babies. She is such a good girl that she could care less about them now. I do alot of training on her and now I can trust her with anything, and she will not hurt it, unless it is a snake and then only if I tell her to get it. She caught a robin one time and got in trouble for it. She is so trained now that when we go to the farmers market, I will put her on a down stay and walk away for a bit. People walk around here and call her but she will not move until I call her. I called for her about a half a block away and she heard me and came running through all the people there. I did alot of work on that dog,

So far I have only lost one. It was backwards and I couldn't get its head out from under its leg in time before it died. I tried though. And I had one BEI die before it even make it to pipping. I have 5 BEIs trying to kick their shells off now. I forgot to count how many Pekins and runners I have in there.

What's your source for pekin and runner eggs? I should probably consider diversifying since the farm's going to be selling at full capacity in two weeks once our market opens for the season.

Cuteness overload!!! My kiddos never match. I let them pick their own clothes no matter how ridiculous. Unless we're going to a wedding or something.
