Here's my plan.. Tmw I'm going to let out only the 2 Anconas. That way he'll be forced to pay attention to her. (And leave mallard girl alone.) Maybe that will work. Mallards will be SOOOO mad.

i think Panini, one of my mutts (pretty sure magpie pekin) is a girl

she was quacking at me today seems kinda early she won't be 4 weeks till thursday. Still waiting on Jett (runner mix) but they will probably be going to a new home so i can keep my welshie girls

Here is my bator.... hoping the 3 internal pips can get out on their own when ready. Hoping to leave the SA egg alone for at least a few more hours.



Chicken, not sure about last week's set, but this set took a heat/humidity beating during last week's hatching when I was trying to save an egg. This time around, I was better about remembering to micro-manage the other bator when steaming up room to hatch these guys.

I've got eggs rocking!!!!

My EE are on day 20. I have 2 external pips, one in the incubator and one under the broody. Every single air cell looks like this or worse so I'm not sure how they'll do hatching, but

were they shipped eggs? mine were almost all like that the last 2 hatched

Was it a nice long multi quote catching up post? My short one's never get deleted, dd waits until I've spent 30 minutes typing trying to say hi and answering everyone then she deletes.

It's not the greatest pic, because I'm too tired to take more than one. But here are the first 7 babies in the brooder. All arms and legs seems to be facing the right way, and they are eating and drinking well.

Grrrr 3 eggs yesterday and now none today! Darn ducks

mine went from everyone laying last week to no duck eggs and only 4 chicken eggs (from 8) a day

Doesn't look like my 12 eggs are fertile. Someone tell me how to correct this problem. Should I get him a movie or some mags or something? Maybe a blow up duck with some red lipstick on?

mine was completely oppisitte 4 girls (out of 24 eggs so not very good hatch) and i was hoping for one boy in the mix

Two overly-full incubators. Due mostly 4/11 and 4/17. Ducklings from 4/11 already all sold. Well, the Runners anyways.
