I decided I'd go double check mine....and the Call eggs I thought had quit? I'm a moron!!! I HAVE 4 OF THE 5 STILL GOING!!!!

I have no idea why they looked to me like they had quit, other than I haven't hatched Calls before. Jeesh, I feel stupid

The adult birds were cramped in small cages and many were just disgustinly dirty. And the prices were sky high, but I got a assorted box of the calls for $20.00 when they should have been $60. That is what I had bid for. Haha for me!!!! I think

Just checked them, and it appears one has internally pipped? Going to boost the humidity just a bit, but they are a bit early.

I just set 38 duck eggs in my inc tonight. I put 26 Rouen's and 12 of my mix breeds in with 5 Guinea eggs. But yet I have no room as I have 14 chicks in one brooder and 10 call that I jsut bought. Yikes

Happy Hatching! I'm hoping that my ducklings will get picked up as fast as I can hatch them, because more brooder room is essential in a desperate way now.

Hi Peeps.

My littlist DD managed to get out a baby button quail, and drop it, and seems to have injured it in a away to precent its standing up. He just falls over and sticks his legs out. Too bad, there were only 3 anyway. Poor little thing, its healthy otherwise, peeps, wants to run and eat. I've made it a little nest in a box, hoping a long rest upright may help it. I hope it dies or gets better soon, she feels very bad. SHe was naughty, I told her to leave them alone.

that I'm just tired and not coming down with something. Next week is a CSA week and we get our meat birds on Wednesday, I can't afford to get sick.
