My duckks don't like peas. They like marigolds that they smashed qhen I let the have free range of the yard. Then they decided to be street walkers. My neighbors called me and said they were out walking down the middle of the street one day. I told they were looking for a horney guy and asked him if he was available. He hung up on me LOL:lau

I've been reading your thread, and have my fingers crossed

that your little duckies all hatch safely (and quickly). I lived most of my life in Council Bluffs, Iowa, have a nephew in Des Moines, and my husband has relatives in Missouri, so I know how miserable the weather can be. That's why we moved to SW Oregon. LOL Anyway, I think watching the incubator is kind of like watching a pot of water to boil. It doesn't do anything while you're watching. So my advise would be to go to bed, get some sleep (you'll need it tomorrow if you get that much snow), and hopefully when you wake up you'll have an incubator full of fuzzy little duckies.

One little pic before I go to bed. Can you see the little hole?! Hopefully tmw I will see some progress. If not... guess what's going to happen? Yes, yes, that would be the dreaded "assisted hatch".

Don't worry about an assisted hatch at this point. That's a lovely looking hole in the shell!!

What angle are the other eggs sitting at there? Are they at the same stage as the one with the hole, or are they other eggs you put in there at a later time? I ask because you may get a better result in future if the eggs are lying on their sides for the last three days like the one with the hole is now.
