Dutch Chic - The babies are beautiful!

Iain, I'm down to two Giant Peking eggs (they are such horrible hatchers, can mini ducks possibly be as impossible as Jumbo ducks?? - remember, I've been hatching goslings all spring it seems, and ducks of every type, and etc, but this is my THIRD BATCH of Jumbo Pekings, and I still have just one single duck) lets hope the darn things hatch!

Dutch your Blue runners look like my Blue Cayugas! I found the Black indian runner look like the beetle sheen of the cayugas too!
Same color & markings ~ I want a blue goose!!!

Very cute anconas!! I noticed one of my b/w anconas has the beetle sheen in its black. It looks very cool. It is 12 weeks old (ish) and I "think" it's a girl.

19 ducklings who should be moving to their new home on Monday:

The eggs that were forcedfully jammed into my mailbox today:

Impressive packaging!

Hello all, I'm on graveyards so haven't had much going on. But I have been lurking around on here every night as much as possible so I know what and how everyone is doing. Janet, keep up the good work with Spirit. I have shown her pictures to everyone who will listen and then some. I ended up having to rewrap the wing on my white Seb girl. I just wrapped the tip like we talked about on the phone the other day. She seems much happier that way. Everyone else seems to be good for now. Jaz I sure like your pups. Marty did you ever find your other birds that blew away in the storm? I looked on here but never saw anymore posts saying you found them. Psue, I have my 7 year old grandson for all of July. Its a custody thing. I love him and wait impatiently for July every year. I wish he could live with me full time forever. He is a laid back little jewel who loves to "help" me do everything. Anyway, thats all for now, gotta go make a round as they say around here.

If its regular Pekings, your golden, they are fine hatchers. I'm trying to get a little flock of the Jumbo Pekings (English stock) and so far so bad. I just one a pair, just one freaking pair!

Cool. Let me know how big they end up being. Mine are supposed to get to 15 lbs, and Lucky (the solo female) is weighing up at 11 allready. Shes just 2 monthes old. Every bit as big as the sebbies are that she hangs out with.

Hiya Shann!

Nope, never found Luna or the other duck. (sigh) Thanks for asking though!

I wan't good at graveyard shifts, I got super sleepy at 3. Of course, that was back in my college days.

Of course, Kevin! I want to include everybody. How are you doing tonight?
I am so sorry that you never found your babies, Marty. I know how tough that has got to be.Most of the time I do alright on graveyards, but if I get sleepy I just drink a 5 hour energy drink and it keeps me awake. I actually prefer graveyards over days. I get more sleep on graveyards believe it or not. Im used to them anyway, been doing it for 15 years or so. I'm a chemical plant operator in southeast Texas. My company is pretty cool about us being on the internet so at least I don't get too bored.
