Finger crossed for girls! I'm having really bad luck getting female WH's this year. First hatch: all male. Second hatch: 2 girls of 12. Third hatch: 4 girls out of 11.I work only weekends so Sunday I will be away from 6am-2:30pm but I know my mind will not be on patients, but rather on my "babies." HA! I am on lockdown mode. My incubator beeped today and quit turning the eggs. I quickly placed the hatching tray in there and closed it. Hopefully the next time I open it I will be lifting out two fuzzy cute Welsh Harlequin babies (GIRLS I hope!)
BEST of luck in getting your dewlap african baby! Crossing my fingers for you![]()
That'll slowly drive you insane. Farm duck broody gave up her nest sometime yesterday. If I had space in bators, I would have tried to save the eggies.i had three girls due this last year the eggs took almost three weeks too all hatch meaning some started to hat mid may and it took till mid june to fully hatch! so make sure you know which eggs and make sure they don't sneek any more in. lol
