MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE
i think i just got one of the best "presents"
i go let the ducks out, give them fresh water, and their meal.
and go on to let the chickens out, and feed the chicks,
well i turn around cuz 1 hen is carrying on .
and my duck are finally mating!!!!!!!

We are going to MIL's this evening. I have to find a store open somewhere today and pick up some peas for the duckies and turkey and birdseed for the quail and chickens, I forgot to get them something.

Funny story.... So I had the eggs out on my side table.. My husband who has been working very late these days poor guy.
Wakes up turns to my side of the bed sits up like he got shocked.
Looks at the eggs and yells at me "why are these eggs not in the refrigerator??"
I looked at him and just like it was an everyday thing "because they are hatching eggs."
He looked at me rolled his eyes and turned around and went back to sleep.
Lol I thought I was going to have a get a great big long lecture!!

Ooohhhhh, lol. Ok. About to say, everyone on this thread are really close and we all love eachother equaly

Ok, one more time, not sure if I got a answer from you or not evelle but are you getting eggs from me next year? And what breeds? I think you said assortment? Or was it ancona eggs? Im so lost!

I'm pretty sure she meant live close DG, since she's in Iowa and me and QJ are both in north missouri about 45 min or so from eachother. Too bad one of us couldn't win the lottery and all meet at 70's though, I've always wanted to go to Australia.

Wow, it'd be great to have you all here. If any of you ever come to Australia, you must visit. My parents live in Sydney and they love showing people round too. Start working on those lottery tickets.
I've been to to US a couple of time for short trips. Been to New York, Chicago, and Lawrence, Kansas.My hubby has been to a few places too but we've never been together (trips were before we met). I dare say we'll be back some day
