OK well 70 and Miss Lydia just sealed the deal on the Apples. I heart them.
That's fantastic. They are beautiful ducks. I'll be looking forward to the hatch date for these guys!

That is so interesting. And smart too.
Yes, it is smart. Roos are pretty good swimmers too, which is surprising given their wierd shape.
If you are interested in reading more about kangaroos, this is an excellent book: http://www.borders.com.au/book/country-a-continent-a-scientist-and-a-kangaroo/6228888/ It's by a scientist who has spent decades researching kangaroos. The book is not just about kangaroos but kangaroos are the theme that drives the book.
Yes, Tim Flannery has written quite a few books on a range of things. Most of them have an 'environmental' component' and put forward interpretations of information the are sometimes a bit controversial (e.g. Australia used to have alot of megafauna - hugely enormous kangaroos, wombats, snakes, lizards - that are extinct now and his view of that is that they were killed off by Aboriginal people about 50 000 years ago. That's the subject of a bit of debate). But he sure does know more about kangaroos than anybody alive.
30 minutes and counting on the Apples!!
