NOPE! she already had around 8 eggs in!.... i regret letting her use it.... I never said i was gonnna be her personal hand guild!. just let her borrow it....

thankfully she only had them in for a few hours....

OK good. Not to many other "non-urban" people. You should see some of the looks I get when I start talking chicken around here. LOL. Or my personal favorite question: "So you don't have a rooster? How do your chickens lay eggs then?"

So what is the update on the duck hatching? Sorry I haven't been on much but have been CRAZY busy! I had two orders of eggs (from ebay) that were supposed to ship out Tues, but they were nice enough to collect & ship Thurs, so I would get them SAT after the snow storm. My mail lady didn't come out yesterday, and probally won't make it out here today. I didn't want my eggs sitting at the PO.

Okay I need to get a refresher course!!! What does everyone have in their Bators now? & is anyone hatching now?

You just got me worried that my eggs won't make it outta there. Did you get any mail today? (please say yes.)

OMG! The egg is twitching!!!! So, I totally suck and could not stop myself from candling it again.... and holy crap! I saw the beak in the air cell and clear movement! It MAY hatch after all!!!!!!!

I'm still back at page 805 but I wanted to say that that is awesome news!!!

EXACTLY what I was thinking... One that can't fly.

BTW: My ducks got the wild notion to fly away today, and then they changed their minds mid-flight and came back. Yeah... that's what I thought. It's a cold lonely world out there ducks. With no one to feed you.
