Just stopped by for a sec and have to ask what are Konzas?
I bet they are these: (found this ad on BYC)

6+ Konza Prairie Rangers- These are a dual-purpose project I've been working on to produce an exceptional foraging bird for meat production as well as great laying hens. The birds are HUGE. I've had males dressing out consistently at over 6.5# at 14 weeks, and the pullets lay daily at 17+ weeks. These are created to have a minimal or flat comb for cold winter temps, yet hardy in heat, and tend to be white with black columbian markings. There isn't a consistent coloration as of yet. This is a friendly, docile, broad-breasted bird-

By the way, do you remember a year ago this time when I was hatching my first set of cayugas and you guys were so great helping me? Here is my favorite girl that I kept from that hatch. She will be 1yo on Feb. 4th.

Aww, thanks. Love the avatar btw. Adorable little girl, although she looks like she could be trouble sometimes, lol.
Bators running & hatching a few Project Eggs & 12 Konzas ~ & some of my own Brahmas ~ All at 97.5 degrees
Let me know how that goes. Not that I want to hatch emus or anything, but I was wondering if they would need to be incubated separate because of the temperature thing.

Of course, I may not be the smartest peanut in the turd but I can usually tell a good egg from a bad one. In Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, you are the golden goose egg that hit the scale and made it on to packaging.

She's gorgeous :love So here's a question for you all: does Meyer Hatchery actually hatch its own ducks? Cause I was looking around and, lo and behold, nearly all the pictures they use are pictures from Metzer Farms. Makes me wonder.
