I just got done with a super crazy 3 weeks and have a little break for a week or two lol got to work on my shed a bit today, I am ordering my meat chickens and some layers in about 3 weeks

I got 60 Goose eggs!

I have nothing to put in it! The weather is still freezing here so I don't dare order eggs by mail yet, I am getting some welshie eggs soon from someone local but I need to wait till the start laying consistently (prob 2 weeks or so) all I have left in my yard are 2 semi worthless bully silver laced Wyandottes

Our daffydills are coming up, frogs are croaking, and had my first slugs come out ! Early spring here

Baking! Hows my world cake buddy? Baked a wedding cake (yesterday) and frosted it up this morning. Wondered if you were doing the same. Seems like my Saturday rituals.

Here is my trio of goslings ~ just had to sex a bunch of ducks & geese for the lady.
I asked my daughter what we should name them, and she said "I Don't Know"
I said that is a great idea.... Eye, Dee & Kay ~ Does anyone know what they are? She got them from Ideal Assortment.

I got some chicks recently, but my mom heard all about them, and immediatly got them from me, and I had to order a new batch of Lavander Orphingtons.

We still have a foot or so of snow on the ground! I think I am going to go with this new one I found http://norfolkhatchery.com/product-listprices/, can't beat that awesome price, and I think I am going to get a few of their layer hybrids too to try (nothing exciting, but will give me eggs till I build my army of duckness
