I would say leave it alone for now, because of how long you will be away. When you start to help, plan on helping on and off again quite a bit. If the little angel does not make it while being in the shell, it is likely it would not have survived outside it. Meanwhile, I will see if I can find anything about ducklings being positioned wrong. I let you know if I find anything.

OK looks like I'll have a long stressful night at work tonight lol. Alright thank you so much. Hopefully I'll have a beautiful baby duckling soon :)

I have only helped once and this duckling was under a mama duck, I'm glad learngstill has experience and has stepped in to help, I'll just be a bystander and be praying.

I thought looking at where the pip was on this egg it looked about right actually, but not being that experienced at hatching, [my ducks mostly do the work here] I didn't want to say and it not be right.

In my experience with ducks hatching, the pip is usually at the lowest point of the air pocket. For me, that has been a little above the middle. If you will be posting pictures again, please draw with a crayon a line tracing the air pocket, then trace the other air pocket you mentioned. This will help to know where exactly it has pipped.

Thanks.. he made it through the night. No progress at all. Learningstill whatever is in the air sac is nothing like the video. I might be able to take some pictures later. I'm gonna leave him alone for a few hours and see if there's anything else going on. I'm still afraid of helping this guy hatch. Its been 2 days since the initial pip.
