Thanks they are so cute! I also have a black one now too. Miss Lydia cheese was doing better until today. I guess my geese ganged up on her and ripped out quite a bit of feathers. I wasn't here unfortunately, as I was at work. The geese are now not liked, but I'm not totally freaked out since I think I know what happened. I think Cheese was in the pool and the geese seeing a duck in the pool probably hopped in it and I'm assuming cheese freaked out and tried to get out but since the pool wasn't full to the top cheese had a hard time getting out so they attacked her. The kiddie pool I have is deeper than the regular ones so the ducks can't touch bottom but the geese can. And when the water is a little low the ducks have a harder time getting out. But when Cheese was in her day pen and would freak out and try to get through the fence the geese would kind of pull her feathers. I'm not sure what heir reasoning is behind attacking her when she freaks out. But I checked her over well and she is OK. Poor girl, she has a rough life. I told my mom she must of been some mass duck murderer or something in a past life and is being horribly punished. I wish I would of been here when it happened.

That is so precious, I know your enjoying them. I'm sorry about Cheese bless her heart. My geese are bullies most are. My ducks stay out of reach as much as possible. Then my ducks bully the chickens. If I hear a chicken holler it's usually because they got to close to a duck.

Thanks I have 7 now and the first one of Cheese's eggs is starting to peep at me. Her's are the last ones. My ducks stay out of reach of them too for the most part. I feel so bad for Cheese and all she's been through. She is definitely one tough little cookie. Me too although I wouldn't mind her being back in the house but I like that she isn't since that means she isn't hurt. I'm glad nothing major happened. So I'm not thinking about making the geese their own house and a run for them so that hopefully Cheese will be ok and nothing else will happen to the poor girl. I'm going to look at goose next weekend and I will most likely be bringing her home and maybe that will help with my ganders hormones. I will get a group duckling picture today since I don't have to work and there's no ducklings hatching anytime soon.

No she's back with her flock now. It's doing great. It's still alive and should hatch in a few days. The other eggs have already started to internally pip and one is peeping at me. These are Cheese's other eggs so they should all hatch around the same time. I can't wait to see my little Holy One.

My latest three... Cheese's first egg is getting ready to hatch and I will hopefully get to see it before I go to bed tonight.
