70- Is that pip in a "normal" location? I'm trying to compare. I'll get a pic of mine.

The top one looks normal - at the fatter end and a bit to the side. That egg is very elongated though. The egg in the bottom picture looks like it may have pipped at the wrong end but it could just be the angle of the photo. Pipping at the wrong end isn't any real cause for worry as long as they haven't hit a vein - all looks well with that egg.

Having my breakfast now and after that gotta clean the duckling's pen.

one piped in the fat end of the egg (well the egg is kinda oblong with no fat end)
and the other one is piping in the skinny end they both where downward.

I have missed a lot. DG and Julie so sorry for your losses. QJ and EV congrats to you both. Can't wait to see some fuzzy butts real soon. I had an egg go bad yesterday. I opened the incubator and about got sick from the smell. I checked the rest of the eggs and I could see little beaks bobbing around in their yolk home. I can even see little feathers starting to appear.

Good news is I got my cast off my foot but had to go to aa walking boot. But doc said NO WALKING. NO MATTER WHAT. if this does not work he will have to amputate the toe off.
Here is my foot now.

Hey SM! Aside from the swelling, that looks pretty darn good! I think you're dr is setting you up for failure by giving you a walking boot and then saying no walking. LoL! Love the new digs. Especially the horse under the tree... precious.

He couldn't put a cast back on because the othet cast rubbed the back of my leg raw. Its nasty looking back there. I need something for protection though that's why the boot. I am staying off the foot no matter how bad I want to walk. At least Iam more mobile now and can get around more. I even stopped out and say my duckies. My daughter says my horse and the goats miss me. She goes out to feed and they bleap and run around like they are looking for me. If it doesn't snow this weekend I am going to have hubby drive out to the barn so o can see them and give them alitte loving. Make them feel better as well as me
