I'm new to this little breed. I have 2 black silkies for sure, and then 3 are this buff/gray color. I think they will turn out pretty. They have poofy heads.

Hi everyone. Sorry about your little chickie, QJ. It's hard when the ones we help don't make it - we get so attached to them.

DG, not sure I'd breed from a bird that had spraddle leg as a chick. It's best to breed only from birds with good strong legs. You don't want the problem to keep cropping up. Unless you think the problem was a slippey surface - if you think it wasn't genetic then that's different. I definitely understand you wanting to breed more blues (I'm a bit of a blue addict
