OK, I'm completely calm now. Here's the thing. Did I over react? Yes. I did. Why? Because the flap of skin hanging off his neck is lower down. Her skin is fine in her scalp area.
This happened in a matter of probably 5 minutes. I looked out the door, duckies were fine, hangin' out in their seperate quarters. Beaker and Bunsen hang next to the kitchen door. So I look out on them every 30 mins or so. (really.. i do.)
So I look outside, everything's fine, put my human girls down for a nap, maybe 5 mins.. Come back and here Beaker quacking, (knew it was beaker).. Run outside and found the adult on top of her attacking her.
I proceeded to Boot Kick the adult off Beaker. (She's still not sure what hit her), grab the Beak-meister and bring her inside. Posted to this forum, which was already on the screen, (go figure), and then went back for bunsen.
And that, my friends, is the story of the last 20 minutes of my life.

And then here's what I did. Washed it out. She didn't want me to touch it. But I put Watkins Salve on the wound and then wrapped it. If you don't know what Watkins salve is.. you need to google it. It's amazing stuff.
I can see a tendon exposed in the neck wound.
She'll be alright. I just freaked when I walked out there and saw blood everywhere. Sorry about that.
Might be having duck dinner tonight... just sayin'.. I can't believe my sweet adults would do this. Actually, it's just the one. She's always been weird like that. No wonder Edward like the other one better.
