QJ! I just read bout your hens!

im sorry! Those darn coons!

I lost a female duck to something just two months (or longer) ago. I cryed so bad. There wasnt even a body, she just wasnt there one day. Here she was as a duckling.

this is her as a older duckling with her sis almost feathered out all the way, (the day before she went missing) her sis is still on the farm. (the one who went missing is on the right)

I miss her soooo much (kinda over did it though

... Sorry)

Merry Christmas to all my friends here on BYC. I love the little family we have become on here. I hope one day some o us can meet and talk and enjoy talking together.

QJ and Julie we seem to be the closest to each other so we need to make plans to meet up somewhere maybe this spring.

Well off to sleep I go. I have my grandson, my niece and her two kids spending the night here tonight. All unexpected, nut its Christmas and they wanted to see me. So HOHOHO MERRY CHRISTMAS! !

Yay, eggs in the bator!

Hope you have a lovely Christmas Day! Mine's pretty much over. Ate lots, had fun. Ducks got more peas and lettuce than they could imagine existed. Everyone happy

Now I need to go to sleep and make an attempt to digest my approximately 7 course, 5 hour lunch.

When I wake up the first thing I'm going to do is trial my new robot vacuum. It has to charge overnight. I'm going to call it O'Brien after one of the maids in Downton Abbey (an excellent HBO series).
