How exciting - a blue Ancona! I generally choose names once I have the bird, so I can see what they're like. But there's no need to wait!

Don't think I've ever seen a blue Ancona here. Or even a black one.

Yes, anconas come in blue, black, lavender, silver, chocolate, and tricolor. I like blues and blacks though. I have a black ancona hen...

Nope, but just opened christmas presents and got a stuffed animal duck! Its so cute! I gotta get a pic for you all!​

Ya'll have made me so wanting ducklings that I have been letting my almost 7 month old muscovy drake back in the house for visits.

can't say he looks much like a duckling any more but at least he lets me cuddle.
