I'm trying to decide what to make for dinner. Frankly, I really feel like crap and not like cooking at all, but I am. then going to bed.
supposed to watch a movie with hubby, but I think bed tops Mr. Poppers Penguins.

omelettes are my go-to when I don't feel like cooking. Throw in some extra garlic to boost your immunity.

Isnt he so cute? Im so touchy! Lol!

Yeah, omelette. That's our go-to meal too. Or fried egg sandwiches (using toasted bread) with tomato sauce (i.e. ketchup) and rocket or lettuce if we are feeling particularly lazy.

I am kinda over eggs at the moment though. Had three fried eggs for breakfast yesterday and I couldn't eat the last one so I just flung it out the back door from where I was sitting and the chickens ate it. A little bit 'third world' but the chickens certainly appreciated it.

Dunno what to have for dinner tonight. And it is hot today so I don't want to put the oven on. It's 31 Celsius. That is quite hot. The options are:
- something with smoked trout
- something with smoked chicken
- something with beef sausages
- fresh salmon
- something with veal and herb sausages (weisswurst)
- something with dried morel mushrooms (but they need soaking overnight and it's too late for that now)
- something with the potatoes from the garden
- something with the forest of parsley in the garden
- Thai chicken pies
- got some tomatoes, basil and onions in the garden too
- eggs (but see above)
- chocolate

Or I could always kill and eat the cursed Australorp that keeps strutting up the back steps and into the dining room.

Anyone want a pair of home-invading Australorp hens? You have to also take the grump Wyandotte who is their best friend.
