Well, if you want to drive into Lee's Summit, there is "The Flip Zone" which is a gymnastic place. I think it was 200 bucks for my GF to have her daughter's party, but it was Awesome! All the kids jumped and bounced and flipped and they have a huge bounce house etc. And then that included the cake, lemonade, and plates etc. Then they did presents. It was one of the best kid parties I've been too.
The owner played games with the kids, served the cake, and then wrote down all the presents and who they were from so she could write Thanks Yous.

Other than that, I have heard (but never gone) to Co Co Key water resort. It would be closer to you. In fact, I have their email address right here, our school is going soon, ... www.cocokeykansascity.com I have heard this is a blast. and it's closer to you, by the stadiums.

I don't like Chuckey Cheese either.

Great idea! The kids all love swimming. We did my 2 year old's party at fun run which is a bouncy place thing, but cocokeys sounds better for the little one. I wanted to go there last summer, but hubby's grandpa works at worlds of fun and gets us all cheap season passes each year and since I'm maybe 5 minutes from there we just went to oceans of fun to swim.

Too bad they weren't born in the summer. Why didn't you plan that better?! Geez Julie!

This summer you HAVE to go to Deanna Rose Farmstead if you've never been. AWESOME. On the OP,KS side, Would probably be about 45 minutes to an hour drive for you, but the kids would LOVE it.

I keep trying to talk my sister into going there with me and her kids since she lives in OP, but she was pregnant until Sept and not really in the mood to go, lol. Maybe this summer. And my youngest was supposed to be born at the end of march, she had to mess things up and come a few months early. It's her own fault she got stuck with a winter birthday.

Well then yes, it is her own darn fault.

You will love Deanna Rose. It's awesome. It's really just like being on this totally cool organized farm. You can interact and feed everything. I LOVE it.
And I should know. I've been there like 5 times. I worked for the LS School District for 6 yrs before staying at home with the latest baby, so I've been on my fair share of field trips. And they add something new every year.

Im so excited! Im gonna have to build a new pen though

You know what's weird? I just read something yesterday about cats. About how there are too many cats, and they are killing the mice, squirrels, rabbits, rats, etc. So the hawks are going after chickens, cuz there are no rodents left... Let me see if I can find it.
