Well, if you want to drive into Lee's Summit, there is "The Flip Zone" which is a gymnastic place. I think it was 200 bucks for my GF to have her daughter's party, but it was Awesome! All the kids jumped and bounced and flipped and they have a huge bounce house etc. And then that included the cake, lemonade, and plates etc. Then they did presents. It was one of the best kid parties I've been too.
The owner played games with the kids, served the cake, and then wrote down all the presents and who they were from so she could write Thanks Yous.
Other than that, I have heard (but never gone) to Co Co Key water resort. It would be closer to you. In fact, I have their email address right here, our school is going soon, ... www.cocokeykansascity.com I have heard this is a blast. and it's closer to you, by the stadiums.
I don't like Chuckey Cheese either.
Great idea! The kids all love swimming. We did my 2 year old's party at fun run which is a bouncy place thing, but cocokeys sounds better for the little one. I wanted to go there last summer, but hubby's grandpa works at worlds of fun and gets us all cheap season passes each year and since I'm maybe 5 minutes from there we just went to oceans of fun to swim.
