Because I do not know if you remember my 14 eggs that were shipped to me that we all bad, from the lady who was moving etc, & shipped two weeks after auction, and said she would put in plenty of extras for the inconvienence & did not send one extra actually shorted me 2 eggs !!!!
I contacted her about this, VERY nicely via email, & pm here on BYC. She did not return any, I sent one more a little more firm, and she sent a PM on the 28th & said she would get back to me after the holidays & deal with it. STILL NOTHING !!!! REALLY !!!! I paid $27 for crap. My rant for the day.

It's a pretty day out so I went and took some pictures of my flock.
My roo Boots keeping watch over his fluffy girls while they drink.
My ducks waiting for their peas. They spend most of their day and evening right here when they are out of the run. The cochin/delaware and my leghorn hang out with them too sometimes.
My delware/la fleche pullet who has very white earlobes and lays pretty brown speckled eggs. She also has a neat comb.
And the chicken I think is the prettiest. She has a brown belly, and is chocolate and irridescent black. She lays white eggs, and is sister to the above pullet. I want more of her, don't have a clue what to breed her to to try to keep her color.
not meanin to change the subject but im just curious.
we are having oddly warm weather this week,
it has been down in the 20's lately.
well yesterday it was a high of 45. wednesday was about the same.
today its in the 50's
and all week is it suppose to be in the mid to upper 40's (farenheight)
could this spark the girls to lay??
i know they are seasonal.
but im like a little kid right now,
i just cant wait.
i have a "talk" with them about eggs everyday
Well the specialist isn' t my specialist. He doesn' t have any idea what is wrong with me. All I know is somebody needs to find out what is making me so sick. Its been a week now that i have been sick and hurting. At least cuddling with my duckies makes me feel alittle better.

Then I ended up getting pregnant a few days before surgery and had to wait a year to have it fixed. Not fun! Bug them dr.'s until they figure it out!
Hopefully it stays fairly low this time, & we will split the cost & I will hatch in my bator & then we will split the hatch.
