Hello ladies! I read the first 160 pages of this thread before I realized that you were adding more pages faster than I could read! It was really neat watching you all 'get to know each other' and share in each others ups and downs! So, tonight when I had a bit of excitement, and my hubby was already sleeping, I knew who would appreciate it! You!!
Ok, so this is the first time I have ever incubated anything, and I didn't know that shipped eggs can have the air cell problem...or that it was a problem until about a week ago. So, at that point I found one of those plastic camping egg trays and put them all in with their blunt ends tipped up. I was worried that because I had not caught it until well into the incubation process that it would be a problem. I am still a bit worried because out of the 12 eggs, 10 have some degree of displacement, with 3 or 4 having severely messed up air cells. BUT.....tonight and I was closing up for the night, I walked past the incubator and peeked in (no, I didn't open it!!). I was so excited to hear all kinds of little ticking noises!! Then I heard a little tiny 'peep peep'!! I am soooo excited! Tomorrow is day 28. I know this is when it gets hard because you have to be patient...sooooo patient. So, I am gonna try ever so hard to be patient!
Ok, there you go. Had to share with someone who would appreciate it!

Gonna walk with me through the process? I am a busy homeschooling mom of 5 kiddos, and hubby works from home, so I don't get too much time to sit at the computer, but I am hoping to keep up with you guys as much as I can!
Great. It is 1am and now I wanna stay up and listen to my duckies. I know, I know...get some rest, its gonna be a while!
Nice to meet you all!
