I have a chicken sitting on some Swedish eggs and yesterday I thought the whole she-bang was getting a bit whiffy. Threw the hen off the nest and discovered that she has been casually pooping while sitting on the nest. For what looked like about a week. Gag. Amazingly, none of the eggs were dirty. I candled and one was clear and one had a blood ring so I chucked them out. Three remaining ones look alright (due 9th Feb).

Was thinking about DG. What about writing her a letter? Like, a real one, on paper.

Someone wondered if she had been banned from the computer for a bit and I wonder that too. I was trying to think of what we may have done to annoy her but I tend to think that if we had done something she'd have forgiven us by now.

I think she may be grounded, or just busy with school, lambs, chickens, ducks, etc. Or spending more time with her dad?

Hey GURLZ! Wow 375 post ! You guys have been busy, we have been doing alot of cleanup. I got an email from RevMama & she is sent my eggs yesterday, I have Cochins in lockdown 13 ! I also have 5 Blue Jersey Giants in LD.

Tried for a few auctions & got outbid, I mean really I am not going to pay $$$$$ for a dozen eggs, spring will be here & everyones eggs will be more plentiful

I did however buy the Lemon Blue Cochins !

My only argument to that is she does her school work on the computer. So if she's banned from the computer she can't do her school. I really can't believe she hasn't been on here.
We were PMing each other though, and she was fine. Now nothing.

I've been watching a couple different breeders on there and it has varied. But I think the highest I saw was around $30.

I paid $31 for a dozen Ancona eggs off ebay (not from Thistle Down Farms). Sadly, only 1 embryo developed out of 12 (now a week away from lockdown). I also paid $46 for a dozen from Aurora Springs (Worth It Farms) off of this site. I get those tomorrow (fingers crossed).

Ugh. She put up more silkie eggs. I am waiting though. I want to sanitize my incubator, have at least my oldest ducks moved outside, etc before I hatch more. I must wait at least 4 weeks. That would put my oldest about 9 weeks when the newest would hatch, and be at least close to nice enough weather to brood older babies outside. I might have broodies to hatch for me by then, so much easier.

I think you need them now.
