its more than we will get for them at the auction.
which is where they were gona end up . well the roosters anyway . i had planned on keeping all 3 hens.
but im sure we will have more accident babies this year.
they're worth way more raised up like that.wouldnt want to charge a whole lot.
you can order them from ideal for 3 sumthin a chick.
but then again most people dont exactly think about that . plus youd have to order quite a few.
Within a week I should have goslings, and my calls go in lockdown in a week! Hurray!
I went outside to make sure everyone made it in, and my bareback silkie is still in her nest. No eggs from her in 2 days either, pretty sure she's broody again. I wish it weren't so cold, or she'd stay broody being moved. I would love to slip some of the call eggs under her, and have less to brood.
So maybe now is the time to order some eggs?!?!?
