You do not daily mist/cool.... only once per week?? What do you keep your humidity at?

Sweet! That is much lower maintenance than what Pete recommends.

I have had my humidity sitting at 51% so far. Should I drop it to 40% now or wait 4-5 days, when I can move the ancona eggs to other bator? Also, what temp? I have it at 99 now... but planned to drop it to 97 after I moved the ancona eggs.

By the way, my duckies are singing away in their shells.

Don't drop the temp, no idea where the idea of 97 came from I see mentioned on here. We run 99.3-99.7 normally. The humidity level was trial and error for where we live. With being on an island we have naturally higher humidity. Monitoring your eggs and their air sacks is the best way to figure out what humidity works best for you.

Utah: How exciting! Keep us posted! I raise mine to 70-75 at first pip. I tried a bunch of different combinations and that's the one that gives me the best results. Is Utah considered the midwest?

J: Same with you! Although you're probably in bed right now with the time difference.

Gotcha. I will have to adjust height of thermometer, however, to get a more accurate temp reading on top of my goose eggs. I love Pete's tip to mark line on shell where air cell is on days 7, 14, 21, 25. I will do that starting tomorrow (day 7).

By the way, I know your area well. I grew up near there and my family still live by you. :D
