No aligators, or bears, or tigers but we do have mountain lions. Not so much around here but out where my sister lives, about 20 miles west of me, they have killed 2 of them out in their cattle pasture.

We went riding out there once and saw a cougar going down this one hillside. We tried to follow it but the terrain was so rough we couldn't get the horses through it. So now she calls that hillside. Cougar Hill
When Jeff went deer hunting out there, he was in the tree and a cougar walked right under him. He said he stayed as quiet as he could and had his gun ready to shoot

My friend had that done and she was in serious pain for a few days. So I'm sure that was no fun at all.
