The guy bought 2... and paid $20, even though we only were asking $10. And, he asked if ok to call us next month when the other cayugas hatch, so he can make breeding sets too.

And here is the ironic part... we have had over 150 views of our online ad and not one phone call... and the guy that bought the ducklings saw our flyer at the local feed store.

Oh I would LOVE LOVE LIVE mandarin and East Indies eggs to hatch. I would keep them all too myself and never sell them. Those are the two ducks that I have wanted forever. Do you sell eggs? If so, how much? Oh I would love to have some.

Yes I do still eggs My mandarin are not laying yet but the east indies have been. I have babies due to hatch in a weeks or so I can't wait

Hi everyone! Just got home from a hard day cooking. It has taken me 10 minutes or so to mostly catch up on everything since last night. Guess I'll have to make this part of my regualr route!

I wish I could have more fowl here, but technically I'm not supposed to have any, but being a historic house has some advantages. I just keep them anyway, since we have a couple of acres. You guys make my list of birds seem very skimpy. I want more birds!!!

Question: Goose eggs (batch #1 Celtic) just did the cooling off thing and I don't see anything but a dark shadow that takes up half the egg. Is this okay.

Thanks, QJ! He has 30 acres, hens, a coop, and a stream. He wanted them for eggs. IMO, I could not have asked for a better buyer!!!!

Not sure about the eggs.... maybe you can take a picture?

Whats everyone doing for the hatch along? I'm probobly going to just do quail, since that what I do a lot anyway. Wish I had more turkey eggs, but I'll never have near enough of those.

Anyone selling silky eggs??? I'd like to do some of those, or maybe coachins. I really want them to help out with hatching, if they are thus inclined. When we go on vacation, its better to leave a real chicken in charge, then trust somebody inexperienced with the incubator.

Hows the weather for everyone? We had 2 inches of snow last night.

Whats the cooling off thing you've done for your goose eggs? I've never hatched geese, just let my moms own geese do the work. Are you referring to turning down the incubator slightly just before hatching?? If so, I think the egg isn't far enough along, perhaps a dead fetus? I HOPE NOT for you. Good Goose Luck.

Utah: Hmm.. I'll try to get a pic. Tonight when it's dark. Awesome buyer for the babies. The guy that bought my cochins (and made me chickenless) takes pics and sends them too me. He's going to give me hatching eggs so I can hatch grandchickies.

Marty: You're apparently supposed to take them out of the bator for a certain amount of time each day starting on day 8 so they can cool off. I know... it's weird.
