I have Silver Appleyards (4) due Friday!! And ALL my Saxony's are developing.

Yep, read the whole thing. Good thing ya'll slow down a bit from time to time because I never would have made it through otherwise! I'm on the West Coast, so I'm still at work while most everyone else in logged in. Makes for a lot of catch-up in the evening!

the picture thing is one of the only things i do know how to do.... when you are typing in the reply box look up to the top where you see the smiley face go over 5 spaces to the box that has a picture of a house, and it will let you attack a pic from you computer, kinda like facebook

I love ducks. So far, the commen peking is my favorite. I want some prettier ducks though. Mine are all brown or whtie. Just like the quail. And the brown turkey. Hmm.... maybe I need something in nice shade of PINK!!

Whats the prettiest duck that is a farm duck? Call ducks and wood ducks don't count here.

Cayugas are pretty cool. I think my favorite is the (possibly) Welsh Harlequin I bought from a guy who thought it was a Khaki Campbell. It's either a Welshie or a Saxony.

Pekins are such cool ducks. They're like puppy dogs compared to my others. Very friendly... loud though!

My eggs have only been in the bator since Saturday night and I'm already looking for hatching eggs again. I want Appleyards and Saxonies and Welshies and more Runners... I need to stop. Right now the only reason I'm allowed to hatch anything is because my boss wants more duckies for the farm. Hubs does not want to expand our duck housing.

Boss mentioned thinking about buying chicks. Now why is she going to buy chicks when she gets 2 dozen eggs a day which would make perfectly good chicks? I have an enabler.

Well, I'm going to call it a night. Need to make sure the quacks are in bed, check the eggies and get my son in the bath. Can't believe it's only Monday.

Forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i keep thinking it is almost time for excitement and realize it has only been a week for the first ones and 3 days for the others!!! it's a good thing they are cute!
