Question to SM and QJ.... probably dumb and obvious... but you don't have a fan on in your bators during hatching, do you?

No. Not a dumb question either. If mine hadn't broken then I would.

I think my first blue egg has just internally pipped. I will definitely have 2, maybe 3, internally pip today.

So what day should I know that the other two duck eggs arent growing? When its day 7 and they are clear? Or should I wait till day 10? Its day five and nothing from ancona eggs #1 and 2 but 3 is going strong!

Let's see, Sebastopols

Goose:

Lilac
White smooth
White curly
Splash
Splash
Grey curly
Just acquired a Saddleback

Ganders:

White smooth
White curly
Grey curly (buff gene carrier)
Just got a blue splash

Also bringing in eggs to hatch for additional bloodlines. Hoping for grey, blue, buff, lilac in those eggs

Keeping all of the hatchlings from our Lilac/Grey pairing as some may end up buff. Will make my choice in fall and sell everything else.

Getting a saddleback gander in fall, will keep another 15-20 make picks and sell the others.

Plus adding American geese in buff, lavender and blue this year.

Day 7 is when I'd throw them out.

I moved mine into the LG with out a fan for hatching
