Long workday. Relaxing and getting ready to go check my eggs one last time before bed.

Bad news: hubby wont let me adopt the muscovy from the farm who flirts with me when I have my camera out. Looks like the bosses are going to get out of the muscovy business, meaning they are destined for freezer camp soon. Hubs says I can adopt the muscovy right into our smoker... :(

That's AMAZING. We're looking for something like that right now. Hard to find with land and location.

I'm curious too! Would love to know about your historic home!

I've got some of the Aunt Ruby's German Green tomato seed that's unclaimed. Think it took my four hours to type up my seed inventory. Guess there's worse things in life to hoard. :)

Smuggle him home, color him with temporary spray hair color in a nice black, and pretuend hes cayuga until the paint wears off!

Never thought of that.

Are you gluttons for punishment?? OK, its kinda cool, its nice to be able to hide many birds in town like this.

You want an olderhouse to fix up, or just a big ol yard near town?
Fixer upper. We are handy type people. I love the old farmhouses. I was raised in one. Maybe that's why.

"Historically Curious"?? Some call it nosey.

I call it "fascinated with old architecture." I was all about buying a 1910 home when we were looking to move out here. Someone swooped in and bought it right before we could go see it. Now we're in a 1973 house, but the 22 acres across the road is vacant, so it feels like we live out in the woods. My bosses are telling me to thank my lucky stars we didn't get that old farmhouse. Theirs is a 1901 and it's a money pit (their opinion).
