My dog's stay in my yard too. Just sayin. LOL! And the one that didn't is on a farm in South Dakota right now. She was a LabraDane. And she scaled the fence too. So she had to go. Took me 6 months to find the right home for her so in the meantime she was kenneled day and night. I would take her out 5 times a day (8 months pregnant mind you) and run around with her. That's how dedicated we were to keeping her our problem and no one else's.

6 months later a woman in South Dakota (5 hour drive) came and picked her up. We are FB friends now and I get updates on her constantly. They LOVE her.

Here's some drama fo yo mama. My neighbor just left with the cops.. in handcuffs. What could it be now? (renters in their 20's).

This is not typical for my neighborhood. Let me just get that out there.

I called my hubby and told him. And he says, (quote).. "Just keep looking for a place."

Yay!!!! He is on board with moving! Which.. he'll basically do what I want any way, but I want him to be motivated like I am.

Well TODAY I have 11 Cochin in LD & 2 Assorted Mystery eggs!

Hatching vibes.....


Woke up this morning to my hubby making Fresh Coffee,
Had the BBQ already going with Charcoal Briquettes & Apple Wood Chips ~ smoked a pound of bacon BEFORE he put it on the stove,
Fresh Eggs CheekO gave me last week, & Texas Toast

(I should weigh 500 pounds by now!)

Mmmmm..... Life is good

What did you get?

I got sucked into some UGLY birds JUST because my son wants one (my daughter got her Silkie & I let my son choose his "pet)!

"12 Crele Polish Mixed Breed hatching eggs.
We have two Gorgeous Crele Polish Roosters, 1 Lemon Cuckoo Polish Rooster, 1 Crele Pendedesenca Rooster and 1 Partridge Silkie Rooster in a flock

The hens are not Polish and include:
Black Frizzle Cochin, Blue Silkie, Cuckoo Silkie, Gold Spangled Hamburg, Mille Fleur D’uccle, , Partridge Olive Eggers, Phoenix (silver and gold duckwing), Porcelain D’uccle, Russian Orloff, Salmon Favorelle, Speckled Sussex.
The chicks that hatch from this flock are gorgeous and 50- 75% of them develop a small top hat when their adult feathers start growing in (at 2-4 weeks of age).






Then I got Some Blue Jersey Giants !!! So I hope to have a nice flock in the future, ALSO I got My Blue Marans coming at me, and 150 Jumbo Quail.
