My duckling-living-with-the-chicken is going well. Almost 2 weeks old. He is learning chicken habits like going to bed when it gets dark and sleeping all night.

Good morning, hatching friends. It is an exciting day at my place! A 2nd egg has started zipping and a 3rd has a few good dimples on shell. Hope they hatch soon! My 1st baby is crying away for one of them to hatch and I really want to move the 1st one to brooder tank as soon as possible. It makes me nervous watching the new baby stretch its head so close to the heat element in LG bator!!

As if hatching out adorable ancona babies is not enough... three of my goosies from Celtic are starting to internally pip!! I would do a jumping or running smiley, but this one is way more accurate at the moment:

Chicken!! Isn't it awesome?!?! I took a pic of it when it first hatched... give me a sec... I'll upload it. Also, I can't wait to show you a new pic of my 19 day old ancona which I will take in a little bit. It has a ton of dark slate grey (or maybe brownish grey) patches showing up all over!
