Poor girl. I'm still trying to break mine of sneaking bites before everyone gets there and we pray. (He thinks we won't notice I guess) He seems perfectly normal otherwise!
Hope your seeds come up quick - I sure get tired of waiting the 30 days for hot peppers to start. I want instant seed gratification!

Morning Anybody and Everybody

I'm all for instant seed gratification. Too bad it doesn't usually work that way. It's funny, our climate makes growing tomatoes a huge test, but my peppers go nuts up until November!

Gonna be leaving in a few minutes to go get some Marans eggs! I must be a crazy chicken lady if I'm driving 2 hours south to go get some chicken eggs. I'm gonna see if he has a few juviniles he might part with, if not at least I will have eggs that have not been scrambled by the USPS. I'm gonna take my camera because he said he would show me the birds the eggs are out of so I'm super excited.....

See you later today BYC friends!

Wow. Having the option of a two hour drive or eggs in the mail, I took the mail option. Gas here just hit $4 a gallon.

Ancona ducks. The eggs are older, though, and they were shipped, so it was a gamble. Not sure if any are going to hatch.

I haven't bought my ducklings from Boondockers yet, but so far they've been great about responding to my emails very quickly (usually within a few hours).

Hey Christine R!! I've heard of boondockers. I got hatching eggs from Heritage Turkey/Plum Run Poultry... but I've had "issues" with communication with them. So I should have probably gone with Boondockers.

The yolk in candled eggs is usually right there in the middle. What are you hatching?
