Whats everyone making for dinner tonight?

I'm thinking Cheesy Nachos, whole grain tortilla chips, pile of lettuce and tomatoe, salsa.... Kids will like it, and I think it'll go great with the margaritas I'm gonna start drinking here in an hour, after I pick up the girls from school.

I also have to start baking. I've got a wedding cake this weekend. (sigh) Pays good, but kinda high stress. Its a 4-tier, and every layer is a differnt flavor. One is the Kahlua Mocha - Layers of yellow cake with chocoalte curls baked in, chocolate ganache filling, and italian buttercream..... (If it weren't having to match the other layers, I'd have Kahlua and expresso in the buttercream too, but not for this one).

Anyone hungary yet?

I got Celtic's eggs!!!!!!!

The way she packaged it, USPS could have played soccer, rugby and lacrosse with her box and those eggs would have still made it safe to me. Thanks Celtic!

Iain, at about 2-3 months old usually. We feed whole oats because A our feed store keeps them stocked and B they are cheaper. Now I will give oatmeal oats to them from 2 weeks up.
Ok, so it's almost time to do the after school run, so I picked up little man to go walk around out back and check on everyone. I hear the geese yelling, not uncommon with this many around, the *^%#! Neighbor is at the fence line with her no good *^%# dog encouraging it to "get it" as he has ahold of my youngest Sebbie goose by the upper chest (near the shoulder)! I screamed at her, she replies with well she shouldn't have been close to the fence. Grrrr stupid people. 2 punctures, missing feathers on this poor beautiful girl and I want to kill the dog. Now I get to file a report with animal control.

I sometimes wish it were legal to shoot idiots who sic their dogs on other people's pets. I know that's kind of mean, but it's how I feel...

You should use those coop cleaning in the compost pile that will feed the greens you feed your duckies next year.  Do you garden?

upright its a boy & if it falls over its a girl (BUT it must be green jello)
