How much bigger are the regular pekins to the giants? Do they grow to adult size at the same rate or do the giants take longer?

regualrs are about 6-9ish. Giants are 12-15lbs. Same adult rate, but Giants have better grain to weight ratio - cost less get more. BIG eggs, like small geese! Very upright.


I'm going to dinner with DH. Szhuean Beef EXTRA EXTRA hot! They can't make it too hot, but I keep asking them to try! LOL I love hot peppers soooo much.

Well I went to my bator....

& I lost one ancona baby

It wasn't doing very well pipped at the wrong end, and was really weak

BUT I did bring 5 more up to the brooder!
& 2 newly hatched

So only 3 eggs left to zip !

Well my pizza night didn't happen.. mainly because of all the freakin' people that like to show up unannounced at my freakin' house whenever they freakin' want because they can't make a freakin' phone call.


But it was going to be pepperoni, bacon, pineapple, and black olive.

mine, and I have many many. Heck, I have GIANT english ones in the bator now.

i have 2 males right now, i love them they are so sweet! ohhh i have been wanting to do some of those, maybe next year!

i would love to do take away

no delivery places around me and little man is in bed! maybe i will call hubby at work and have him bring home one.... then again it will be close to 1 am and will be cold! yuck to the black olives though and i don't have any ranch.... hell i don't have anything but pasta, sauce, crackers, and limes

maybe i will gather motivation to go grocery shopping tomorrow
