When are the local sebbie goslings going to hatch?

She's great. She loves to be held. So much more quiet than a duck. And NOT food motivated like they are. She is definitley smarter. And so sweet. I'm still thinking of names.
Oh and SO much cleaner!

I'm thinking about putting her in with the big ducks since they're the same size, but I don't want her to be "wild". I want her to stay tame.

treats are a big hit with geese tho .
but its more of an "oh, hey, you brought me goodys that was nice"
where ducks are like "hello, where the heck is my treats"

ok well they arent muscovy .
the are mutt ducks.
but thats ok.
she had 2 rouen hens. a few mallard hens and a mallard drake.
pekin hens and a drake.
and a muscovy drake with 3-4 hens.

the pekins looked like they were pure . nice yellow ducklings (but 2 had a little white on the chest ??)
but i had to be different and pick odd looking babies.
i will get better pics later these dont show the duck on the rights color. she is really light, not dark.



the peanuts are in a box in an attempt to keep my brooder clean .
hopefully they leave later. if not they will be let back into the brooder

He said first of the month. I was going for a date.. but he came back with "first of next month."

He's not very communicable.

I asked him to put me on his waiting list for one, maybe two.

I'm starting to favor the geese too. But then I think, is it just the Sebbies that are this calm? I wonder if those Chinese geese are this way. I think they are supposed to be loud and mean when they grow up.

Everyone else, greetings and saluttations, in the immortal words of Charlette the spider in Charlettes Web.

Spending lots of time walking the new dog, and working on theings like "sit" and "heel". He's a 90 lb puppy, and my hands hurt from walking him! Hope he gets teh "heel" down soon, or I won't be able to type!
