I'll see if my feed store has pellets. I know it has shavings, but that would be messy to use inside.

The same thing are the pine pellets for stoves, $4 for a big bag ~ its all I use

& I get mine at the feed store

CG (and everyone else): I bought equine stall pellets today. I plan to line bottom with a flat sheet then add a 1-2" layer to the top. Hope it works!!

Glad I found the pellets then. It was $8 for a 40lb bag at my feed store. Then $1 at the thrift store for a flat sheet to lay underneath. Not too bad.

I had to go back. Four ducklings followed me home. All because I decided I wanted to use pellet bedding instead of shavings under the puppy pads.
