My driveway has huge potloles that we call "Lake Gilcriest" (the propertys name) and the ducks would love to be out in the lakes, but instead, its my children.

Its spring break, so on with the swim suits, shorts, t-shirt, a hefty bag raincoat, and galoshes (which as far as I can tell didn't make it to the third puddle). They look like drowned rats.

I am really mostly interested in the turks, and the apples.  But shipping will be the same, so she will toss in the rouens & pekins to fill the box.  (kinda like the extras) How much do you charge for a dozen?  I might have to PM you in the future!


 

$6 a doz. They are pet quality. So not worth to much, but I hate throwing out fertilized eggs. We dont eat them, and I dont hatch them very much...

Marty-I just candled my 26 quail eggs last night. Only 4 were fertile!!!!! I'm not a very happy camper. Hopefully I get a couple males out of the 4.

Are you planning to separate them into pairs? I vent sex my tuxedos between 4-6 weeks. If you have hard time with vent sexing you can beer sex them.

So my marans are all done hatching! I got 5 our of 7 to hatch the other two died before internal pipping. I also hatched tons of splash bantam cochins......

I've already got so many in the brooder, but the more I hatch the more picky I can be when it comes time to choose keepers. Not keeping anything that isn't show quality.

Getting ready to collect up some more Ancona duck eggs to set..... Unless I get some more egg orders for them

I've only got 5 in the grow out pen right now and they are starting to get big, so it's time to hatch out some more ducklings.

Got a few sets of Penciled Runners going in the bator soon and another set that has been in there for a week or so.

Here is what I have in my incubator right now:
True Ameraucana eggs (blue and splash)
Olive Egger eggs (blue cuckoo)
Bantam Cochin eggs (blue, splash, and blue mottled)
Wheaten Marans eggs (2nd set of shipped eggs from bad ebay seller so probably won't have any hatch)
Indian Runner eggs (penciled)
Thats all that is in my small incubator..... I've got to get my big incubator cleaned out from the hatch (I've got a few chicks still fluffin up in there) and then I'll set some more duck eggs in it.
