I never have trouble with my fresh duck eggs, but this is the first year I've ebayed any eggs other than quail. They've proved to be more challenging, and thus I must either assist, or accept heavy loses. I've got the science training, I've disected, I've got tools, I'm gonna deliver these darn babies!!

But I'd rather they do it themselves.

LOL.... I accidentally posted this in the wrong duck thread I was so excited to post it. Anyway, this is the thread I want to be in to share my news.

My geese met my 6.5 week old ducks today!! We took our ducks to their outside pen... and within minutes, the geese came running over! It was obvious they were hoping they were the goslings, but they seemed very gentle with my ducks and cooed softly to them. They walked around the pen, then over to window where goslings are to coo at them... then over to the driveway, where they laid down and are now alerting the neighborhood they are on guard (as they are doing almost constantly now).

Here's a pic... I wish we had a similar outdoor pen for the goslings, but will definitely have one by tomorrow!
