Yes, a hernia could very well be tied into any digestive issues, as they are all related very closely down there. It doesn't seem at all impossible this issue may resolve itself, given time. Just like when a human baby is premature, it needs those extras days of growing and preparing on the outside of its protective womb now. Give the baby another day or two, they time it would have taken to slowly complete its hatch, while completing neccessary physiological changes. (ya know, getting ready for life on the outside physically) Don't do anything rash, just be a good nurse. Do what Celtic and QJ and I said, keep it moist, let it rest. Lucky looked unlikely to make it at first, but 1.5 days later, he was finally up, working both legs, yolk in, and out and about. You could never tell now how close he came to being unlucky.
