NOT me... I'm afraid I'd lose them, lolWow, Marty!! So Teeny!! Your pictures really make me want to hatch a few button quail. You horrible woman you.![]()
Oh No!!!! The toulouse I thought was positioned wrong just punched out at the wrong place. Thank GOD he punched out, but I don't know if it will be able to get out of shell without help. What to do???
Here is my toulouse baby now... happy to have a bigger hole and be uprighted. He is screaming up a storm and trying to keep working at his shell.
I have a sinking feeling that my other african egg may be wrong way too.... giving serious consideration as to how best to handle that one before taking any action.
ETA: Took advantage of steamy bathroom to give african a quick candle. His beak is near the sweet spot. WHEW!!
Broddy and babies are doing well. I had my 2 silkies in a wire cage because they kept trying to sit on the broody and babies. I let them out today because I felt bad for them. One is back with the others, the other is sharing the babies and all seem happy so I'm letting them.
When I was bringing more water to the babies evidently my roo decided he needed to protect them and ran and bit the back of my ankle, little *******. He's getting a talking to, might let the kids carry him around a few hours.
Julie do you ever get a non-tufted baby from your romans
