what is a grease pencil?

Grease pencil: sorta a combo of a pencil and a crayon, often used for marking glass. I like using them for plant labels because it doesn't fade like marker.

They were totally accidental. I want to hatch some eggs from them to see if they throw mini-runners as well!

If they throw mini runners that would be amazing! You could start a whole new size category for runners!

Sad news from my workplace. Our LGD, Rex, has passed away from bone cancer. His sister, Rosie is still with us, but we are hoping to find her a new companion because she will be terribly lonely without him.

RIP, Rex.

I know. They came to us from a farm where they guarded goats. They spent last summer protecting our meat chickens and were caring for our laying flocks through the winter. I loved Rex very much even though he was only with us a short time.

These are all from my workplace. They have some awesome runners. My current flock is a work in progress. I have "bantam" runners, which are actually just abnormally short runners. Don't know how it happened, I bought them as ducklings from a private seller.

I really, really, really insist on saving some ducklings for myself here soon. I'm definitely keeping a few of the penciled and I want a couple blacks and a couple silvers.

If you hatch some call sized runners keep me in mind for eggs.
