I had to cull a call drake this week. Hard to do. I held his body then pulled his neck out straight and hard. It gets more graphic from here.

I wasn't 100% sure when the struggling started if I screwed up or if it was nerves, so I did something I watched a guy do once. I grabbed him by just the neck and twirled his body around in circles, to make sure the neck was broken. At this point I was panicking to just get it done and not thinking too much about anything else, but it was hard. I think he went fast.

He was half dead... Heart beating, but barley breathing, I couldn't take it, so I kinda "smuthered" him .......... :hit ... Was that to cruel? I couldn't take my baby suffering like that :(

NO it's not cruel. You did what any of us as poultry parents would do. You put him out of his pain and now he can rest in ducky heaven pain free. I'm sorry you had do this but you did the right thing
 
Thanks :) .... I was trying to find the fastest way to cull the baby with out him hurting... I kinda paniked... Im good at that :he
