Thread formerly known as Hatch day is today

Okay, I'm back. BYC was not letting me post since yesterday at some point. Thanks to Marty's advice I seen on another thread about downloading Google Chrome I'm back in biz. Thanks Marty.

Accidentally, QJ? Geez, I would have placed large bet that you were going to buy something!

:) I know.. Lol. But in my defense.. the guy I bought these from.. I wasn't going to buy anything. We were getting ready to leave. Then we got to talking about 4H and how he shows about 200 birds each year and is also one of the judges.. blah blah blah. And he was trying to talk me into it saying they were a good pair. You know how it goes. This is a breed I've wanted, and he's reputable, so I figured... might as well know where they're coming from!

I think those are so pretty, but i've decided on a new pet project today with the DDs. We've spent half the day on the internet and phone, and are buying 2 trios of Buttercups (show quality) and some hatching eggs from two different breeders. Think that'll be the perfect chicken for our heritage homestead.

Great Choice!

Qj, update your signiture! I must know what you have! Lol

Oh man. Okay, I'll do that. I disabled the feature so I don't see sigs. Makes my computer run a little faster that way.

Marty, did you see the latest posts on the goose thread?

Yep. I've allready paid her. (DH and I were out for dinner)

Did you see my posts? One of my bators got unplugged (I thought it had quite) but the cat was in the room, and screwed it up. Anyway, it was the bator with all 6 goose eggs due in the next 72 hours, and it was off for like 3-4 hours maybe. They temp was down to 94 or so. Will the eggs be ok? I can't really see movement, but that's not unusual for me.
