are the call eggs still doing good

There are still 10 in the incubator. One was a bloodring, the other had a really bad air cell and quit. There are 2 iffy ones with the baby growing next to the top of the aircell, but 8 doing great I think. I'll candle them when all the poults are out of the incubator.

That's 2 batches of shipped eggs in a row that I've had 100% development from the eggs.

Adorable pics bakin!
As far as the electric tape, I'd cut as much off as possible then use oil to break up the adhesive and remove the rest. Poor baby, lol.

thats good.
im glad they all made it safe and are doing good.

i think after this batch in the bator im leaving the hatching to the chickens.

altho im going to go ask the neighbor for some quail eggs just to experience it .
and when i get some silkie hens i want to hatch some of their eggs. lol.
and im still holding out for a goose egg or 2.=)

but since the chickens are having good luck i will leave hatching to them.

I don't mind incubating/hatching, but the chickens make so much better mommies than me. And it's so much easier letting them do all the work.
