She may be wanting to go broody....all of mine that have been laying are. Seems like they know it's close to the end of the season and they all want to brood now.

I woke up to a suprise....the iffy butterscotch baby has improved! It had never opened it's eyes, and couldn't hold it's head up. And it just wanted to lie on it's side because it couldn't stay up. I did a little physical therapy last night to encourage it to stretch it's neck up and out. This morning, I expected to find it dead....but nope! It's eyes are open, and it's holding it's head up. It's always been strong and active, but just kept throwing itself forward and onto it's side. It still has that launching affect, but it's acting like a duck now and acting more normal....trying to preen and interacts. I just can't get it to stay up right because of the launching affect. Can't keep it in a bowl cuz it launches itself out of the bowl. Oh hey! As I'm sitting here typing this, it has righted itself! Maybe it will pull through! It definitely has the desire to! It's name is Butters, lol.

Dutch she prolly does. As i collected the eggs the geese corcled me watchin and talkn to me, i think they objected to it.

And i hope butters pulls thru.
Sounds promising.

We r on our way to get my new fluffies

Excellent news, Dutch!

My african flock have decided they want the goslings in the garage, but the goslings are terrified of the flock. I have tried opening garage door and walling off sides so the babies can retreat to back of pens if they want, but my older set of babies are so scared, they keep trying to claw their way into the youngest set's pen (the youngest set are good with chilling in back of pen). So I finally gave up and closed the door again and now the africans are refusing to leave. I want to turn the older set out into side yard, but I have to figure out a way to get them past the africans.
