If they are of age I would see if they are okay with the drakes as long as there isn't too much breeding going onLOL, Shannon! I saw that ebay listing and thought of you.
So, the plan is to fence off area for bachelors someplace else, keep 2 drakes, but separate my younger girls. That leaves 2 girls of age. Do I put them with drakes of keep them with girls?
And of course, after I posted this, I realized how perverted that sounds!![]()

if you still have good movement you could try wrapping the egg losely in a damp wash cloth to help soften the shell without blocking the air hole..... I've only hatched geese hopefully one of the duck hatching ladies will pop in soon... good luckHello ladies, I was directed to come ask my question here, maybe you guys can help me out a bit. I have one Cayuga duck egg at day 30. His movement is great, he is definately trying to get out. He's pipped internally but can't seem to make an external pip. I've made the smallest hole, about the size of a pin head to give him a little oxygen, that was yesterday. I've been avoiding in any assistance. And hoped that after I gave him a little oxygen, he would pip and zip pretty quickly. I was just hoping for suggestions, don't like assisting too much because it makes my nerves go through the roof! I hatched my first kayuga duckling about a month ago, I did have to assist him, and he is doing excellently. I guess what I'm hoping for is someone to tell me to be PATIENT! Lol. All suggestions are very welcome and thank you in advance!
